Mobile March

Hey y'all!

Apparently now that I have a smart phone, I have forgotten all about my camera.  Actually I went to grab my camera the other day and it was d.e.a.d!

At first, I wasn't a fan of the smart phone in fear that I would become addicted and well, maybe I am a bit, but it's so much more convenient than I thought!

At the end of February, Mason went to the dentist for the first time ever!  Yes, I know, he should have gone sooner, but knowing my son like I do, there is no way he would have had anything to do with it until now.

What a big boy!! He did awesome!  He sat still, listened, and followed the directions.  So proud!

And the best part, no cavities!  The dentist said his teeth looked excellent.  Great news!  I'm so hoping he has his daddy's teeth.  Kevin has no cavities at all.  I have like 20!  Just kidding, only about 6, and a crown.

Another big day for Mason....

Registered for Kindergaren. Really, already!?  We are so not ready for this moment.  And judging by the picture, neither is Mason.  HA!

Are you seeing a pattern here?  Another first for Mason, Soccer.

He seems to really be enjoying himself and we're having a great time watching him.  The games are too funny!

Guess what is happening soon?!

Preschool graduation.  YIKES!  It can't be.  Where did the last 2 years go?

I will be a hot mess on the day of graduation.  Get the kleenex ready!!

We've also been enjoying the weather.  We had a few days of 70+ degrees outside, so we made the best of it on the front porch.  This particular day it was almost 80 and Mason decides to wear this...

Bruiser loves it too!  He will sun all day as long as it's warm out.

Tuesday's Tip ~ The dishwasher is your friend

Hey y'all!

Welcome to another tip for Tuesday.  Today we're talking about your dishwasher.  No, not your hands, although I use those too, but the electronic device in your kitchen.

The dishwasher can clean so many other things besides your dishes.  Before I turn on my dishwasher, I always look around to see what else needs to be cleaned and/or sanitized.

My first go to item is the sponge.  The dishwasher is a great way to sanitize your sponge.

Here is a great article from Good Housekeeping.

Those of you who know me well, knows I don't stop at just a sponge.  Oh no, I am still on the lookout for the next item that needs to be cleaned.

Some other items I throw in the dishwasher are contact lens case, soap dishes (especially the ones with the suction cups that hang on your shower wall), the trays from the washing machine, toothbrush (head refills), hats, plastic toys, brushes, combs, sink plugs, etc.

I mean the list goes on and on.  Since some of these items are plastic or small, I always put them on the top rack of the dishwasher.

Sorry.  I know I said dishwasher like 500 times! :)

What items do you put in your dishwasher?

Happy cleaning!

Soccer

Hey y'all!

I'm officially a soccer mom.  ;)

Back in January, I was looking for activities for Mason as I knew the Spring enrollment would be here very soon.  Mason really hasn't been introduced to sports much.  Of course, we play the occasional game of something in our yard.  Hubby and I are not athletic, to say the least, so when it came time to choose a sport, we left it up to Mason.  Between soccer and tee ball, well you can guess what he chose.  Secretively, I was screaming... tee ball, tee ball....

Honestly, we were not sure how excited he would be when it came time to actually go to practice.  Surprisingly, he was very excited.  At first, I think he was more excited to show everyone his new shoes!

He really did great at his first practice.  He listened and follow the directions.  And of course, our little social butterfly played well with others.

He did great kicking the ball and passing it back and fourth to his coach and teammates.

And of course, no athlete is complete without the proper uniform and duffle bag.

I mean really, how cute is he in this uniform?!  He said, look mommy, how did they know orange is my favorite color?

Mason loves his new cinch sac.  He can carry it like a backpack and it fits him perfectly!
