WOW!!! Time really does fly by...

GOSH!! I have a lot of catching up to do. I had always heard that time flies when you have a baby and that you should enjoy every second of every day. Well, I guess we have been doing just that and in the meantime blogs aren't being updated, email isn't being checked (or voicemail). I do manage to do laundry and cook dinner (most nights). It is very challenging trying to get everything accomplished in a day. I must say that staying home with Mason has been much harder than I thought and much harder than any job that I have ever had in my life, but it is also the most rewarding. Sometimes I get so stressed from lack of sleep and Mason is crying. I can't figure out what is wrong with him and then I look down and he's smiling. I have been crying and laughing at the same time and sometimes wondering "What have I gotten myself into", but then you see that precious smile and you know. Mason is still such a good baby. I wish he would sleep sometimes, but each day is getting better. He has just recently started smiling for real (it's not gas related). We haven't been able to capture it yet on camera, but I'm sure that we will soon. He has really grown too. We're not exactly sure how much he weighs, but it's definitely 9 lbs. His next doctor appointment is Aug. 3rd so we'll find out for sure. He is wearing 0-3 month clothes, but they are still a little large on him. He is now eating 5 oz. at every meal, which is normally every 3 1/2 to 4 hours. Unfortunately, the nursing just didn't work for us. I never realized how hard that would be either. That's a whole other story in itself. So, all in all, I would say the Kranz family is doing quite well.

Here are some pictures from Father's Day. Kevin is one proud Daddy!!

Bath Time...Week One

What a beautiful baby boy!! We can say this because we are his parents. Mason enjoyed his first sponge bath. He looked at himself in the mirror almost the whole time. Of course, he peed in the water too. We laughed and enjoyed this wonderful "first" of giving our son his bath.

We're home...Week One

After 3 days in the hospital, Mommy, Daddy and Mason are finally home. We have had lots of visitors this week and Mason was passed around with joy. He IS adorable and such a good baby. We are all doing well and trying to get adjusted to having a baby in the house.

Everyone in the neighborhood knew we were home with this 7ft stork.
Thanks Grammy!
Mason is all dressed and ready to leave the hospital.
